基本情况：
安徽省计量测试研究所1978年5月正式成立，是安徽省质量技术监督局依法设置的法定计量检定机构，也是安徽省科学技术委员会认定的省级科技成果鉴定检测机构。现有实验室建筑面积10000m2，恒温室面积5200 m2，仪器设备原值1400多万元，固定资产3000多万元，现有职工112人，其中高级职称23人，中级职称43人，内设6个职能管理部门，10个专业检测研究室。现已建立社会公用计量标准131项，已开展长度、力学、电磁、无线电、时间频率、化学、光学仪器、声学、电离辐射、温度等10大类计量检定、校准、检测项目618项，可开展计量器具新产品鉴定6类81项，汽车新产品7类61项鉴定检测。2002年通过国家质检总局对电能表、水表、煤气表、衡器四种重点管理计量器具定型鉴定的授权考核并顺利通过国家质检总局对法定计量检定机构的授权复查考核。
安徽省计量测试研究所经省局批准又相继成立了“安徽省计量器具质量监督检验中心”、“安徽省汽车产品质量监督检验站”、“安徽省第一计量公正行”、“安徽省机动车辆公估服务行”、“安徽省标准计量技术开发公司”、“安徽省新世纪技术监督事务所”，形成了以安徽省计量测试研究所为主体，集计量检定/校准/检测、质量检验、科研开发、技术咨询、生产经营、中介服务等为一体，检、商、服一条龙，多体制并存的管理模式，2002年7月国家质检总局党组书记李传卿同志来我所视察工作时，对我所的管理模式给予了充分的肯定和较高的评价。
安徽省计量测试研究所承担完成了“GST-1000一米光栅测长机”等九项科研项目和“计米器”国家计量检定规程的起草工作，其中“0-2.5kPa水二等标准精密液体压力计”等荣获国家计量局科研成果三等奖、“数字式指零仪”荣获国家计量局科技进步四等奖，为计量事业发展和安徽的经济建设发挥了重要作用。

Introduction:
Anhui Institute of Measurement and Testing founded in May, 1978 is the legal metrical inspection institution set up by Anhui Province Quality and technology supervision Bureau as per the law, and is also the appraisal and inspection institution of provincial scientific achievements accredited by Ahui Provincial Science and Technology Commission. There are construction area of 10000 square meters for laboratories, and 5200 square meters for constant temperature room. The original value of equipment and instruments is more than 14 million Yuan, and over 30 million Yuan for fixed assets. There are now 112 employees including 23 persons with senior title and 43 persons with middle title. There are 6 function control departments and 10 professional inspection laboratories. There are 131 established standards for social public metering. 10 categories of length, mechanics, temperature, electromagnetism, wireless, time frequency, chemistry, optical instruments, acoustics, ionization radiation and temperature etc, altogether 618 metering items. Inspection/calibration/measurement are available for serving. 6 kinds of 81 new products of metrical apparatus appraisal and 7 kinds of 61 new automobile products. In 2002 it passed the authorization examination gas meter, weighing apparatus, and also successfully passed the authorized countercheck inspection on legal metrical examination institutions by National General Quality Inspection Bureau.
Anhui Institute of Measurement and Testing, subject to approval of The Provincial Bureau, has successively set up Anhui Province Metrical Apparatus Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, Anhui Province Automobile Products Quality and Supervision Inspection Station. The First Metrical Notarization Firm of Anhui Province, Anhui Provincial Notarization Service Firm of Motor Vehicles, Anhui Provincial standard Metrical Technology Development Company, Anhui Provincial New Century Technology Supervision Office. In this way the management mode of multiple systems coexistence is formed in a continuous line of inspection, business and service, by combining metering inspection/calibration/examination, quality inspection, scientific development, technology consultation, production business and intermediate service into an organic whole. When Comrade Li Chuanqin, Secretary of Leading Party Group of National Quality Inspection General Bureau came to this institute for work inspection, he fully affirmed and highly evaluated the control mode of this institute.
Anhui Institute of Measurement and Testing has performed and finished 9 scientific items of GST-1000 One Meter Grating Length Measuring Machine and draft work of meter counter national metrical testing procedure, in which the Second Standard Precision Liquid Pressure Gauge of 0-2.5kpa water has won the third Prize of Sic-tech Achievements of National Metrological Bureau and “Digital Zero Indicator” has won the fourth prize of Sic-tech Progress of National Metrological Bureau. All these have played an important role in metering undertaking development and Anhui economic construction.
