基本情况：
机构成立于1984年，原称“湖南省计量测试技术研究所”，2002年更名为“湖南省计量检测研究院”。本院是湖南省政府依法设置的全省最高法定计量检定机构，隶属湖南省质量技术监督局管理。占地面积4.5公顷，拥有7600m2检测实验室。本院力求按照检测、校准实验室国际标准管理实验室，建立了完善的质量体系：1997年获得国家法定计量检定机构授权证书，2002年获得国家实验室认可证书，重点计量器具定型鉴定项目也获得国家质量监督检验检疫总局授权。
本院现有职工93人，高级工程师19人，工程师32人，汇聚了一批高素质、年富力强、经验丰富的专业技术人员。有13个专业实验室。设立了计量产品质量监督检验站、计算机产品质量监督检验站、综合布线质量监督检验中心、社会计量公正行、职业技能鉴定所和计量技术开发公司等机构。省政府在本院设立了湖南省传感器技术重点实验室。本院现有仪器设备固定资产1350万元，建立了113项社会公用计量标准，还建立了环境性能试验、电磁兼容检测、计算机检测、综合布线检测和手机检测等项目。其中获得国家授权的检定项目231项，校准/检测项目232项；获得国家实验室认可的校准项目175项，检测项目54项。现已发展成为湖南省规模最大、检测能力最强的校准、检测实验室，是湖南省的计量测试技术中心和计量产品、计算机及相关类高新技术产品质量监督检验中心。本院以“质量第一、科学公正、严谨高效、准确可靠”为质量方针，坚持“以客户为中心”的服务宗旨，为社会提供优质检测服务。

Introduction:
The institution, established in 1984, has the former name of “Hunan Institute of Metrology and Measurement Technique”, and now the name of “Hunan Institute of Metrology & Test” since 2002. The institution was founded by the government of Hunan province and under the administration of Hunan Provincial Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision, acting as the highest legal metrology verification institution of the province. It covers an area of 4.5 hectare, owning calibration laboratory space of 7600 m2. The institution strives to manage the laboratory according to the general requirements of international standard for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories, establishing perfect quality system. The institution has acquired the certificate of national metrological authorization to the legal metrological verification institution in 1997, and acquired the certificate of CNAL in 2002. Its Key measurement devices for pattern evaluation items have also been authorized by AQSIQ.
There are ninety three workers and staff members in this institution, including nineteen senior engineers, thirty two engineers. Most of them are veteran experts in this field. It has thirteen special labs, established the measuring instruments quality supervision centre, the computer products quality supervision centre, the integrate wiring quality inspection centre, the social measurement justice centre, the occupation craftsmanship appraisement centre, as well as the measurement technique exploitation company. Hunan provincial people’s Government has established the Hunan sensing technology laboratory in this institution. It has fixed assets of RMB 1350 Yuan including instruments and equipments, erecting 113 public standards of measurement. The available projects established cover environmental performance testing, electromagnetic competitive testing, computer testing, integrate wiring testing and mobile telephone testing. 231 verification items and 232 calibration/testing items have acquired the national metrological authorization, and 175 calibration items and 54 testing items acquired the verification of CNAL. The institute has become a calibration/testing laboratory with the largest scope and the most powerful testing ability in Hunan province. As the centre of metrology and measurement technology, as well as the centre of quality supervision and inspection for the products of measuring instrument, computer and related hi-tech products in the province, the institution always provides the high-quality calibration and testing service for society, sticking to the principles of “quality first, scientific means and justice, serious spirit and efficiency, accuracy and dependence”, and the service tenet of “customer first ”.
