基本情况：
甘肃省计量测试研究所、甘肃省计量检定所（以下简称“甘肃省计量测试所、计量检定所”）是甘肃省质量技术监督局直属的省级国家法定计量检定机构，为贯彻实施计量 法律、法规提供技术保证，分别根据中共甘肃省委（1978）19号、甘肃省编委甘编（1978）096号文和甘肃省编委（1987）074号及甘机编（1994）079号文成立的。为登记注册的事业单位法人。
2002年6月20日甘肃省质量技术监督局决定成立两所统一的所领导班子，采用两块牌子一套班子的管理模式，同时将本所定位为社会公益性事业单位。
全所占地1.9万m2，房屋建筑面积约7000 m2，其中，恒温实验室面积680 m2，主要设备872台（件），固定资产837.52万元。
全所现有职工88人，其中高级工程师10人，工程师40人，助理工程师6人，中级技术职称以上人员占全所人员总数的57％。具有大专以上学历人员49人，其中工学硕士3人。
全所设置智能管理部门4个：办公室、人事财务科、业务科、质量保证科；专业技术室5个：长度室、力学室、电磁室、综合室、开发室。
建立了长度、力学、热学、电磁学、无线电、时间频率、光学、声学、电离辐射、化学等社会公用计量标准共92项。其中经国家质量监督检验检疫总局（含原国家质量技术监督局）考核合格的本所最高社会公用计量标准33项，经甘肃省质量技术监督局考核合格的社会公用计量标准59项，现开展计量器具检定、校准、检测项目201项。
甘肃省计量测试研究所、计量检定所在国家质量监督检验检疫总局的授权范围内，依法公正、科学、独力地对外开展工作。

Introduction：
Gansu Institute of Measurement and Gansu Institute of Metrology and Testing is a national legal measurment technology institution leaded by the Bureau of Quality and Technical Supevision, Gansu .Being to carry out Metrology Law and supply technology guarantee ,two institue were set up by government which was authorized by Gansu committee of the Communist Party according to the document No.(1978)19,and according to documents No.(1978)096,No.(1987)074,No.(1994) 079 announced by Gansu Registry Committee. It all register legal of enterprise.
The Gansu Bureau of Quality and Technical Supevision decided to appoint a leader of two institutes and run unite adminstration on June 20,2002.The new technology institution is a government supported institution..
The institute has 1.9 ten thousands square meters,building architecture area 7000 square meters which keeps perennially constant temperature and humidity conditions for a floor area of 680 square meters.The institute has 872 main apparatus,permanent assets 837.52 ten thousands yuan .
The institute has 88 staffs, of whom 10 are senior engineers , 40are engineer,6 are assistant engineer,57 percent staffs has engineer or higher technic post,3 has master degree.
The institute set up four administrative apartment which include Rear-service Office, Personal and Finance office, Guaratee Quality office, communication office and five technology lab which include Length Lab, Mechanics Lab , Electromagnetics Lab , Colligation Lab , Computer and network Lab.
The institute has established 92 metrological benchmarks for public use which 33 had been checked by the state Bureau of Quality and Technical Supevision and passed,which 59 had been checked by the Gansu Bureau of Quality and Technical Supevision and passed. The institute provides 201 items of measurment, calibration, testing.
The institute will provide testing services to the general public with fairly,scientific,single-handedly.
