基本情况：
青海省计量测试研究所是国家质量监督检验检疫总局授权的省级法定计量检定机构，隶属青海省质量技术监督局，是青海省最高的综合性计量检定/校准中心，负责建立社会公用计量标准，承担量值传递，执行强制检定和校准工作，为计量监督行政执法提供技术保障。
青海省计量测试研究所始建于1968年，现有职工71人，其中有大专以上学历的52人，硕士研究生2人，高级工程师8人，工程师24人，具有从事检定/校准资格的专业人员46人。建筑面积4800m2，固定资产544万元，已建立长度、力学、热学、电学、无线电、时间频率、光学、化学、电离辐射、声学十大类68项计量标准，可开展143种计量器具的检定/校准工作。
目前所内设有：质量保证办公室、业务科、政工科、办公室、长度室、热工室、力学室、电学室，并经省、市质量技术监督局授权建立了青海省度量衡检定站、青海省燃气表计量检测站、青海省电子收费计时器质量监督检验站、青海省燃油加油机计量检定站、青海省眼镜质量监督检验站、青海省出租汽车计价器检测中心、西宁市电能表计量检定站共计十五个部门。多年来，全所职工以质量求生存，以优质服务求发展，工作中取得丰硕成果，所内综合实力显著增强，先后在国内有影响的专业刊物发表论文五十余篇，完成标准电池自动检定装置、激光丝杆螺距测量仪、微机工业锅炉综合测试仪、青海省计量信息管理计算机网络系统等科研项目，其中所内计算机信息管理网络系统的使用使我所的管理水平又上了一个新的台阶，并以准确可靠的检测数据，公证、科学的作风赢得了社会的一致好评。2002年度荣获国家质检总局“全国质量监督检验检疫总局先进单位”称号。

Introduction:
The Qinghai Provincial Institute of Measurement and Testing Technology (QPIMTT) is a province-supported institute commissioned to develop technologies for measurement and testing by the National Bureau of Inspection & Quarantine for Quality Supervision. Subordinated to the Qinghai Provincial Bureau of Quality & Technology Supervision, QPIMTT is the highest comprehensive metrological verification & calibration center within Qinghai Province, in charge of establishing and maintaining metrological standards for public use, undertaking magnitude transmit and carrying out inspection and quarantine to provide technical guarantee for measurement supervision.
Established in 1968, QPIMTT has about 71 staffs, 54 universities and colleges’ graduates, 2 master degree candidates, 8 senior engineers and 24 engineers, as well as 46 professional staff qualified to inspection & quarantine. QPIMTT has fixed capital around 5,440,000 RMB Yuan, with floorage being 4,800 square meters. It has established 68 metrological standards of 16 categories including length, mechanics, thermology, electricity, radio, time frequency, optics, chemistry, ionizing radiation, acoustics and so on, and is qualified to carry out inspection and calibration on 143 kinds of measuring instruments.
Now, it coordinates the service operation of the various departments of QPIMTT, and is charge of Quality Guarantee Office, Business Section, Political Section, Office, Length Room, Thermology Room, Mechanics Room and Electricity Room. Moreover, it has established 15 organizations such as Qinghai Provincial Length Inspection Station, Qinghai Provincial Gas-Meter Measurement Inspection Station, and Qinghai Provincial Quality Supervision & Inspection Station for Electric Charge & Time-keeping Device, Qinghai Provincial Oil Filing Machine Measurement Inspection Station, Qinghai Provincial Glasses Quality Supervision & Inspection Station, Qinghai Provincial Taxi Valuation Inspection Center, Xining Municipal Electric Energy Meter Measurement Inspection Station, authorized by Qinghai Provincial Bureau of Quality & Technology Supervision and Xining Municipal Bureau of Quality & Technology Supervision. Through many years, the whole staff of QPIMTT has made outstanding achievements with its best quality and service. It has issued over 50 theses in learned specialized journals at home. Furthermore, it has finished many projects such as automatic inspection device for standard battery, laser pitch measurement meter, comprehensive testing meter for industrial boiler and so on. Among them, the application of computer data management network system has made our management level take on a new leaf. With accurate and reliable data, as well as fair and scientific work style, we have won unanimous favorable comments from society. In 2002, we won the honorable title of “the Advanced Unit of National Bureau of Inspection & Quarantine for Quality & Technology Supervision”.
